About Dr. Nicole Callella
Dr. Nicole Callella is a South Bay native. She attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She quickly learned that she loved and had a passion for children and wanted a clinical focus for graduate school. While attending Pepperdine University for her Master of Arts degree in Psychology, she was a Behavior Specialist in schools implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with autism and developmental disabilities. After graduating with her M.A. from Pepperdine, she attended and graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University with her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Psychology degrees (Psy.D.) with an emphasis in family, children, adolescents, and couples. She has worked with a variety of conditions such as anxiety, depression, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity/Impulsivity (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), eating disorders, trauma, phobias, tics, autism, developmental disabilities, and relational difficulties.

Dr. Callella has a variety of clinical experiences. She has worked with children, adolescents, families, and couples from a Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems perspective.

Also, Dr. Callella specializes in psychoeducational and social and emotional testing to best understand how a child learns and takes in the world to help children use their strengths to build on their weaknesses as they navigate their environment. She has worked in community mental health, medical, and private practice settings for several years.

Dr. Callella completed her accredited American Psychological Association (APA) Clinical Health Psychology internship at one of the “Top 100 Hospitals,” Baylor Scott and White Hospital, through Texas A&M School of Medicine in Central Texas. This allowed her to solidify her clinical skills with the integration of an individual’s biological and psychological health.

Currently, Dr. Callella is Adjunct Faculty at Antioch University, where she teaches graduate students who are obtaining their master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) in the areas of Ethics and Professional Development and Contemporary Theories of Personality.
The last few years, Dr. Callella has spent her time in private practice, specializing in providing comprehensive and integrated psychological assessments and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and families and established South Bay Family Solutions in Torrance, California.
About Tony Rescigno
Tony Rescigno is an Associate Marriage Family Therapist native to Los Angeles, California. He is under the supervision of Dr. Nicole Callella.
After acquiring his bachelor’s degree at The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Tony began his program in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles, where he studied extensively in how to provide psychotherapeutic services for children and adults.
Immediately upon graduation, Tony began working in the field from a Cognitive Behavioral and Narrative therapy lens, helping clients navigate their way through anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships. He also has extensive experience working with the geriatric population, specifically those living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of cognitive decline.

With a background in teaching music to middle and high schoolers, Tony quickly discovered that his joy in working with children and young adults could continue to manifest in the realm of therapy.
